If you’re teaching math to elementary students, you really should check out these videos created by Rosie at Education Unboxed. Rosie uses a lot of Miquon-style approaches in these videos, demonstrating how powerful it can be to learn first with the concrete and then move to the abstract. (Plus she has seriously cute kids!)
